Objectives

Evaluate whether reducing the perceived temperature in lactation sows improves zootechnical performance and optimizes water usages.

More specifically: 
 
  • Optomization of sow and piglet environment;
  • Validation of the cooling effect of a drip system on zootechnical performance;
  • Techno-economic analysis;
  • Delivery of outputs and deliverables.
