Focus on the thermal stress of lactating sows during extreme summer heat.
 

• What impact do heat sources used for piglets have on the temperature experienced by the sow ?
• How can we optimize piglet comfort without reducing that of the sow ?
• How to optimize the drip system for cooling the sow, and what impacts does it have on sow performance ?

 
This project will allow us to address these questions and more !
