A joint project between CDPQ and Jyga Technologies has developed a new feeding and innovative group housing system for pregnant sows.
This feeding system provides individualized feeding to sows housed in groups, is easily adaptable to both small and large-scale operations, and costs less than existing systems. Its development meets the Animal Care Assessment (ACA) requirements for animal welfare.
